About SOS
Established as a 501c3 not for profit organization in 2002, SOS focused first on supporting the
servicemen of the local 29 Palms Marine base.
And more recently with our “Save our Seniors” related programs that have looked to empower the senior population with information and options so they could remain at home if they chose; even despite a life changing event.
Now in 2012, SOS has found itself in the middle of the sustainability movement and is very excited to play a part. The newly enhanced mission of The SOS Foundation is now to “Share our Sustainability”.
Well into life’s journey, the present members of SOS have found ourselves in the position of having a wealth of information and resources that we feel compelled to share relating to what we feel is the next logical step for mankind…being responsible for ourselves, our families and those close to us both in belief and in proximity.
Times have changed and we can no longer rely on Uncle Sam or any of the supporting programs to be there when we really need it. And what happens if another 911 or similar does to the short term outages of services and long term disruption of the same.
Whether it relates to living green, growing organically for positive health or economic changes, becoming more sustainable or preparing for the future we at SOS can help make it a reality. And amazingly enough, it actually can be enjoyable, economical and there's opportunity in there too!
Specifically, we look to serve individuals and the greater good by teaming up with those businesses and not for profit organizations that are doing something “synergistic” with what we can complimentary offer.
